Made two new woodburnings these winter months.  Based off urban exploring experiences and awakenings.  Hope to post some more soon.

You're Alright- Installation

Started making fort installations hoping to create a more calming environment in my life.

Pumpkin

Decorated a pumpkin for Halloween.  Decided to bless the harvest gourd by giving it the sacred face of the one and only Vampira!

KC DIY Freeskool

Over the past few months I have participated and taught classes in the new free school in Kansas City. Thusly dubbed "KC DIY FreeSkool."  There philosophy is this, "ALL AGES GATHERING TOGETHER IN A SAFE LEARNING COMMUNITY TO LEARN BY EXPERIENCE, TEACHERS ARE STUDENTS AND STUDENTS ARE TEACHERS IN FREE, PRACTICALLY FUN, NO PRESSURE CLASSES THAT ARE NEVER TOO SMALL ON SUBJECTS THAT ARE NEVER TOO DUMB. VARIETY IS WELCOME- SO ARE YOU. MAKE YOUR OWN ADVENTURE!"
"I Lost My Shoe"- character building performance class.

"Ghosts In the Graveyard"- Class game played on devils night at Lincoln Cemetery.

HARM'S WAY- 48 Film Festival

Harms way
Over the summertime Bonnie Thomas, Matt Llyod, Mike Kearns, and myself made a film for the 48 hr film festival.  If you are not familiar with the competition you are assigned a genre, a line of dialogue, and prop then have 48hrs to make a movie.  It is a blast and I highly recommend it to any filmmakers out there.

Children's Book

In the fall I finished up illustrating a children's novel for Phyllis Westover- a nice little tale about a boy and his pony.  These are some of my favorite images from the project.  You can order the book here- http://www.amazon.com/Highest-Bidder-Phyllis-Galley-Westover/dp/1481123033

On the Muddy Banks of KAW POINT

This summer I finally had time to participate in K.C's Trash Boat Regatta! It was beyond an excellent time and now that I have had a taste of the river I can't get enough.  My first mate Matthew Llyod and I built this mighty vessel posted above conveniently sponsored by Night Train. Thus we christen it "The Night Boat Night Train, Boat."  We floated in the Regatta in July and since then I have been working closely with the community of urban water squatters of Kansas City hosting another Regatta in September. To find out more information on the trash boat community in K.C check out-
